Happy birthday

21 Experiences I Had As A 21 Year Old

Livin’ as a 21 year old and born on the 21st, I thought it would be exciting to share with you all the different experiences I had throughout my “Golden Year”.

Yes, a golden year is the year you turn the same age as your birthday. This year is mine and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster.

Jump on in and let’s ride through the past year together!

1. SMF

SMF was the first festival, I attended back in 2016 but, it wasn’t until my second time (May 2019) that I was invited as a VIP influencer to the event. It was a total blast!

2. Opened My Restaurant, Teas Days

After 9 months of creating, planning, signing and promoting I opened up my restaurant, Teas Days. At the lounge, we specialize in boba tea and puffle waffles but also offer milkshakes, sandwiches, beer and wine. My passion behind this isn’t just held in the boba but within a purpose to create a fun environment. Welcoming others to share their talents, use the WIFI to get some work done or connect and market at our networking events.

3. Broken Into

WHEW! Nine days in and I already received a call that we were broken into. Yes, BIG challenges do arise and fairly quickly. I’ve been learning that you can never be to careful and that theirs going to be very emotional challenges in a business, especially if its yours.

4. VidCon

Knowing I just started my youtube channel in May of 2019, I decided to take the chance and attend the youtube convention called “VidCon”. I’ve never even heard of such an event, but it seemed fun and like a great investment to grow!

It definitely was… The Anaheim Convention center held the event for 3 days in the middle of July, and it was an awesome time getting to go to seminars and network with creators.

5. Hot Chicken Wing Contest

Every year on 4th of July, I watch the annual hotdog eating contest (I dont know its just a thing and has been since I was little). So, I decided to host a hot chicken wing contest at Teas Days featuring “Munchies 420’s, Fire in the Hole” wings on the 5th of July.

One of Munchies managers showed up to Teas Days with gloves on, a wrapped up bag full of wings and liability forms waiting to be signed. Each contestant had to agree to terms and put on gloves before eating the wings… My friend Marc totally surprised me, out of everyone there I didn’t believe he had it in him but he showed me who’s BOSS real quick.

6. Worked with Ignite at Club LIV

Early August, I was invited to model, and represent “Ignite” and Dan Bilzerian at Club LIV. I’ve heard of this hot spot a variety of times before, because Drake sings it in his song and its known as one of the top clubs in Miami. Who would’ve known I would be able to work with Miami Night Life and promote there for a night, working with team in VIP!

7. New Car

After driving around in a beamer with nearly 200k miles on it, I decided there was no longer time to waste on tow trucks or money to spend on new batteries/engines. I got myself a ride to the Kia dealership and bought my very first brand new car – a Kia Forte 2020!

I bought my Forte with 21 miles on it through the “Fucillo” dealership, where Billy Fucillo and his team gift all the new car owners with extra prizes. He rewarded me with golf clubs, a bike, a kayak, a TV, a amazon tablet and even a FREE CRUISE…

Well ok. I’ll take it 😉

8. Certified as a Coach and Speaker

It was 2017 that I began to discover my passion for personal development. Early 2019, I decided to take the leap and sign up with John Maxwell, to get certified as a coach and improve my speaking skills.

John Maxwell has many years of experience writing, speaking and building teams. After finishing up all my required courses, in late August, I went to a three day conference and got certified on coaching, speaking and training!

9. Hosted First Mansion Airbnb Creative Meet-Up

Since early 2019, I’ve been attending and hosting creative meet-ups for models and photographers. In November, I decided to rent a mansion airbnb and host a creative meet-up right there in Orlando.

10. EDC

I knew I liked festivals but it wasn’t until I was paid to party at EDC that I truly fell in love.

In orlando at EDC, I worked for a new promotional company throughout the festival. This was such a wonderful experience, because I got to watch a lot happen before my own eyes in the business world, because they started this company weeks before the event and definitely pulled it off!. It was a great way to learn about a startup business.

Day three of the event was one of the best days of my life. I was chosen to dance on stage during one of the sets, and it was one of the most memorable and exciting 10 minutes ever!

11. Art Basel

In early winter, I modeled for my very first time at art Basel and even had the pleasure of meeting Daymond John!

12. HUGE cruise

Since I bought my car through the Fucillo Dealership, each new car owner was gifted the with a cruise!. My mom and I enjoyed the 5-Day trip and I can’t thank Billy and his team enough, for going above and beyond our expectations.

13. Graduated College

From late nights studying to early morning classes. I was so grateful to have finished all my requirements for my Bachelors Degree. I graduated in winter with a degree in Psychology and Entrepreneurship!

14. Top 15 New Restaurants of Sarasota

After being featured in the newspapers a variety of times, holding large events for Toastmasters Speaking Group and even hosting a Movie Premier for “Big Top Evil”. Teas Days was awarded in the Top 15 New Restaurants of the area! What an accomplishment 🙂

15. Certified as a Personal Trainer

After years of experience in gymnastics and other sports full of muscle training and cardio. I’ve realized I can’t go a day without movement. Being physical in life and moving around is so necessary to keep a healthy body AND mind.

I decided to get certified as a personal trainer, so I can continue to empower others to work on their fitness journey. Being certified has taught me more about the human body, the intentions and expectations when it comes to working out and staying healthy. I now work out an average of 4-5 times a week and train individuals as well as groups.

16. RISE Conference

In January, I went to the RISE conference held by Rachel Hollis. It was an eye opening experience and taught me a lot about the ways I can reflect from my past, live in the moment and have faith for the future.

This 3-day conference was a great way to start off the new year for 2020!

17. Walked in NYFW

On February 8th, I had a mind blowing opportunity to walk in New York Fashion Week in the Broad Street Ballroom. This was an absolutely unbelievable experience that I didn’t even foresee for myself. I’ve always been interested in fashion shows, but haven’t pursued much due to my lack of height (most require you to be a minimum of 5’8), so I was beyond grateful to be invited and included in such an amazing event.

18. Playlist LIVE

Playlist LIVE was the last real event I attended before the pandemic. It was the second Youtube convention that I invested in and it was definitely a good choice. Located in the Orlando World Marriott Center, I spent 3-days watching kids get down and jiggy on TikTok, listened to awesome online advice and was introduced to a streaming app called MeetMe.

19. Flourish Event

After months of preparing and working with my coach on my first event. I had a 2.5 hour seminar known as “Flourish” planned for April 4th but due to COVID-19. I had to cancel my very first conference. I felt very hurt inside because it was something, I’ve been looking forward to and required a lot of discipline and uncomfortable feelings.

Since the event had to be cancelled, I decided to create my first online course going over the same topics I would cover at the event. This is still a work in progress, but if you’re interested in my course at all and learning about the foundational principles to “Flourish” your life, sign up here to stay updated with course information and sales.

20. Creating Connections Online

Just after joining the platform “MeetMe”. I began to form an online family where I can be myself, share my lifestyle and create lasting friendships. In February, I considered streaming a video game thing and had no idea the impact it could have on my life and others.

Now just days before my 22nd birthday, I have over 20,000 fans and have nightly theme streams including Motivational Monday, Talent Tuesday, Game Night Wednesday and Battles on Thursday!. I am so beyond thankful, that I came across this app and am able to connect with others and empower them, to be the best version of themselves.

21. Livin’ It Up During a Pandemic

Last but definitely not least is LIVINNN IT UP’, during a pandemic but still enjoying life as much as possible!. I’m ready to take the masks off and be 22! Let’s go 🙂

Thanks for joining me on 21 adventures I had this past year, it was a blast and wouldn’t of been the same without your support!.
